Hairdresser

Our hairdresser calls every week and can 
be available on request. Clients can also 
have their own hairdresser attend 
at their own personal request.

Doctor

If a resident requests a doctor, we will contact their own GP. However, immediate visits may not always be possible, and delays can occur. In all cases, our staff will act promptly and in the resident’s best interests based on their assessment of the situation.

Physiotherapists

If a Client’s Doctor feels treatment by a Physiotherapist will be of benefit, this will be arranged. Any other treatment requested by a resident would require to be paid privately.

Dentist

The community dentist will visit when needed to attend to any resident requiring dental care. In addition, all residents are scheduled to receive a full dental check-up once a year to support their ongoing health and wellbeing.

Chiropodist

The home uses the services of a private Chiropodist, who attends to clients needs every 6-8 weeks. This service is paid for privately by each individual. The local NHS podiatrist also visits regularly, offering the service free of charge.

Pet-Friendly Visits

We warmly welcome pets by arrangement and regularly host pet therapy sessions. Small animals like our resident budgie and guinea pig enrich our homely atmosphere, offering companionship and emotional comfort to residents.
